AUTHORS NOTICE
After the release of X_List 2.14, some small problems showed
up, here's a few corrections for the 2.14 version:
o Unfortunately there was a programming bug, that caused
X_List to be unable to read the FLSearch.BBS when running in
SuperBBS mode. Until the next release of X_List, you will
have to use the FLSearch.CTL file as input, using the
control statement 'AreaFile X:\Sbbs\FLSearch.CTL'
o Maximus 2.0 has just been released, with the result that
X_List did get problems reading the AREA.DAT file. X_List
may be patched to understand the new format using this
patch...
Since X_List does only support two characters as area
number for each area, you will need to to make sure that the
two first characters of each area are different...
Area 'XList' and Area 'XListPatch', will both be named
'XL', and cause X_List to get confused..
NOTE: If you choose to patch X_List to handle the Max 2.0,
you will disable support for Max 1.02.
** WARNING: Do NOT use ADJUST 2.14 on a Max 2.0 userfile **
** The file may be damaged due to new structure **
o There is also some problems handling the new RemoteAccess
(currently version 1.10 beta), the Author has changed the
structure for the FILES.RA file, and this could cause X_List
to search for the FILES.BBS files in a wrong location..
In the old versions of RemoteAccess, a field was used to
store a an alternative directory path for the Files.BBS file
(to be used along with a CDRom).. This field has been moved
or removed in the latest Struct.110 description..
As a result of this X_List will NOT be able to support a
CDRom when running in RemoteAccess 1.10ß compatible mode..
Usage of this patch is on you own risk.
Any combination of the patch options may (and again it may no)
result in strange behavior of X_List..
